The match is scheduled to start at 6:30 pm and will be broadcast on SporTV. This will be the second unofficial match that the two clubs will play before making their debut in the main national football competition. The first took place on March 29, 2023, at the same Nabizão, and ended with a comeback victory for the Minas Gerais club by a score of 3-2.

The Raposa coach, Portuguese Leonardo Jardim, who is still at the beginning of his work in charge of the team, will have the absences of midfielder Matheus Pereira, who will stay in Belo Horizonte to witness the birth of his son, and the injured French forward Bolasie. The teams will kick off their campaigns in the Brasileirão next week.
